🍫 Ingredients

A) For the Chocolate Cake

  • 1Β½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • Β½ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Β½ tsp baking soda
  • ΒΌ tsp salt
  • ΒΎ cup milk
  • Β½ cup oil
  • 2 eggs (or Β½ cup yogurt for eggless)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Β½ cup hot water or hot coffee

B) For the Rabdi Layer

(Quick instant rabdi version)

  • 2 cups full-fat milk
  • Β½ cup condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp milk powder
  • ΒΌ tsp cardamom (optional)
  • 3–4 Oreos (crushed)
  • 2 KitKat fingers (crushed)

C) For Decoration

  • 8–10 KitKat finger sticks
  • 6–8 Oreos (halved or crushed)
  • Chocolate chips (optional)
  • Whipped cream or chocolate ganache

🍰 Instructions


Step 1: Make the Chocolate Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 180Β°C (350Β°F).
  2. Grease & line an 8-inch round cake pan.
  3. In a bowl, mix:
    flour + sugar + cocoa + baking powder + baking soda + salt.
  4. Add:
    milk + oil + eggs (or yogurt) + vanilla β†’ whisk until smooth.
  5. Add hot water/coffee slowly β€” the batter will become thin (this is good!).
  6. Pour into the pan and bake 30–35 minutes.
  7. Cool completely.

Step 2: Make Quick Oreo-KitKat Rabdi

  1. In a pan, bring milk to a simmer.
  2. Add condensed milk and stir for 5 minutes.
  3. Add milk powder, mix well to thicken.
  4. Cook on low until it becomes slightly creamy (not too thick).
  5. Turn off heat; let it cool.
  6. Mix in crushed Oreos + crushed KitKat.

Tip: Rabdi should be pourable but creamy β€” not very thick.


Step 3: Assemble the Cake

  1. Slice the cake into 2 layers if thick (optional).
  2. Place the first layer on a board.
  3. Pour a generous amount of Oreo-KitKat rabdi on top.
  4. Add the second layer and pour more rabdi.
  5. Use whipped cream or chocolate ganache on the sides to hold shape.
  6. Stick KitKat fingers around the outside of the cake.
  7. Top with Oreos, KitKat pieces, chocolate chips, or leftover rabdi.

Refrigerate the cake for 1–2 hours for best texture and flavor.
